Ruby Jean Beeler Shope-age 74 of Maynardville passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, May 12, 2021 at her home. She was preceded in death by husband, James D. Shope; parents, General and Lettie (Bone) Beeler; father and mother-in-law, David and Bertie Shope; brother, Gary Beeler; son-in-law, Tim Hopson.

Survivors: children, Cindy Hopson, Stephanie (Robert) Blackburn, LeAnn Ray, Stacy Shope and special friend, Kristy Savage, Natasha (Charles) Gentry, Todd (Marlena) Shope, Kendra (David) Casillas; sister, Artie (Charles) Beason. 17 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 with funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Robert Blackburn, Rev. Wade Brantley officiating with music by Teresa Bays. Interment 3 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2021, Taylor’s Grove Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Sunday to go in the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Brandon Blackburn, Robbie Blackburn, Bryson Shope, Tony Carter, Greg Carter, Briscoe Harless. Honorary Pallbearers: Dakota Gentry, Dakota Shope, Jordan Ray, Peyton Ray, Allen Collins.
