Shane David Cooke-age 64 of Maynardville passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 at Claiborne Medical Center. He was a member of Little Valley Baptist Church. Shane was graduate of Horace Maynard High School, Class of 1976; retired employee of DeRoyal Industries, Maynardville plant with 40 years of service. He was a loving brother, uncle and friend. Preceded in death by wife, Denise Capps Cooke; parents, Lynn and Mackie (Laws) Cooke.

Survivors: brother, Clint Cooke; nephew, Jacob Cooke, both of Maynardville.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. Thursday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Richard Nicley officiating with music by Linda Nicley. Interment 11 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2022 at Big Barren Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10:15 a.m. Friday to go with the funeral procession.

Pallbearers: Jacob Cooke, Wendell Padgett, Gary Moore, Kent Janeway, Jeff Richardson, Joey Cook. Honorary Pallbearers: Eli Turner, Timmy Janeway, Brad Capps, Danny Sexton, Rick Kitts Randy Padgett, Steve Humphrey.
