Obituary for SMSgt Lance Wesley Roe

SMSgt Lance Wesley Roe age 41 of Mary Esther, FL formerly of
Maynardville, TN received his heavenly wings Sunday, May 16, 2021 while
enroute to Offutt Air Force Base near Omaha, NE. Lance was saved at
age 13 and a member of Hickory Valley Baptist Church in Maynardville, TN.

Lance joined the United States Air Force immediately after high school and
proudly served 22 years as a Crew Chief on the C-130 aircraft. He led Airmen
in multiple key positions within the maintenance career field and was promoted
to the second highest enlisted rank of Senior Master Sergeant on July 1, 2018.
Lance deployed on numerous occasions in support of Operations ENDURING
FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM and INHERENT RESOLVE.

Lance was also a bone marrow donor for a young man and able to save a life. He
loved his country and his life was spent in service. Lance's life was complete
after he met his wonderful wife Caitlin and his son Kaden, and they became a
part of it. Lance loved spending time with Caitlin and Kaden, which he was so
proud of. Patti and Mark were like another set of parents to Lance and he loved
them so much.

He was preceded in death by father, Larry Roe; Grandparents: Clyde and
Frances Roe; Fount and Jean Haynes.

Survived by Loving Wife: Caitlin Roe and precious son Kaden Roe;
Mother: Barbara Jane Roe; Half brothers: Brad Arion, Larry Roe Jr.;
Half sisters: Heather Scoggins and Lori Dennis, all of Kokomo, IN.
Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of lifelong friends from around the globe.

He was and will always be our Hero and forever will be missed and remain
in the hearts of his family and friends.

There will be a Private service held for Lance on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at
11:00 a.m. at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, with Reverend Richard Nicley
officiating.
