Steven Lynn Atkins-age 63 of Maynardville, born July 4, 1958 passed away Thursday morning, February 10, 2022 at U. T. Medical Center. Hel loved to spend time with his family, fishing and racing. He was an owner/operator truck driver and also worked for Belcher Trucking. Preceded in death by parents, Roy and Mary Atkins and a sister, Dorothy Atkins.

Survivors: his loving wife of 45 years, Kathy (Davis) Atkins; mother-in-law, Edna Davis; son, Scottie Atkins and wife, Amanda; daughters, Beth Davis and husband, Dennis; Debbie Setzer (Daniel); Tammy Muncey; grandsons, Preston, Michael, Justin, C J, Jaxon, Brandon; granddaughters, Katie, Brittany, Bailee and Adalynn. Sister, Patsy McCall. A host of nieces and nephews that loved him dearly. Special friends, Lonas, John and Tyler.

The family will receive friends 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. Sunday with the funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. Sunday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Leon Nicely officiating with music by Gracie Atkins, Brittany and Eddie Munsey, Nayana Howard. Interment will follow at Nicely Family Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: Daris Braden, Bubby Braden, Dennis Davis, Ronnie Harrell, Nick Harrell, Donnie Davis. Honorary Pallbearers: Jason Long, Michael Adams, Preston Atkins, Billy Bailey.
