Teresa E. Atkins-age 65 of Knoxville passed away suddenly Thursday, June 18, 2020 at her home. She was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church, Corryton; retired employee of Levi Strauss, Powell and was a former employee of K-Mart. Teresa was an avid lover of horses. Preceded in death by parents, Jasper and Ileen Atkins; sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Jim Phipps.

Survivors: sister, Cindy A. Montgomery of Knoxville; nieces, Tina Dalton, Brandy Montgomery; nephews, Marty Phipps, Jackie Montgomery; great-nieces and nephew, Kristina, Hannah, Addison and Harper; great-great-niece and nephew, Raylynn and Dalton. Teresa was a nanna to her extended family.

The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Tuesday, June 23, 2020 with funeral service to follow at 7 P.M. Tuesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Greg Hurst officiating with music by The Johnson Trio. Interment 1 P.M. Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Doyle Wayne Needham Cemetery, Powder Springs. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 12:15 P.M. to travel with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Marty Phipps, Jackie Montgomery, Chris Bolden, Chris Dalton, Joey Janeway, Josh Johnson. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
