Thelma Louise Oaks-age 79 of Knoxville, born July 13, 1943 in Union County, Tennessee went to be with the Lord 2:31 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2022 at North Knoxville Medical Center. Louise is a member of Grace Full Gospel Baptist Church, Corryton and was a retired postal worker of 30 years. Preceded in death by parents, Willis and Sylvia Burnette and eight siblings.

Survivors: husband, Jackie Oaks; sons, Timothy Hickle; Charles Miles and wife, Jennifer; grandson, Caden and Corvin Miles. Brothers, Carl and Helen Burnett; Denny and Betty Burnett. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
A memorial visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2922 with the memorial service to follow at 7 p.m. Saturday at Grace Full Gospel Baptist Church, Ashley Lane, Corryton, Pastor Steve Wright and Pastor Andy Lynn officiating.

Graveside service and interment 3 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville, Pastor Steve Wright and Pastor Andy Lynn officiating. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery by 2:45 p.m. Sunday Pallbearers: Dustin Miles, Timothy Hickle, Caden Miles, Jerry Lawson, Rondy Buckner, Jr., Jerry Price.
