Victor Shane Archer-age 58 of Maynardville passed away suddenly Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at his home. He was a graduate of Clinton High School, Class of 1982. Preceded in death by parents, mother, Charlene Williamson and step-father, Herman Williamson.

Survivors: wife of 33 years, Sherri Ingle Archer; daughter, Haley Wade and husband, Matthew of Harrogate; son, Brandon Archer of Maynardville; daughter, Lyndsay Archer of Knoxville; son, Joshua Archer and wife, Lindsey; four grandchildren, Adelynn Wade, Sawyer Wade, Makayla Archer, Jaxon Archer. Half-brothers, Charles (Chuck) Archer of New Tazewell; step-brothers, Dana Archer of Sevierville; Jack Archer of Cosby; half-sister, Tracy Irons of Clinton; step-sister, Dianne Wilshire of Alabama. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Friday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Trevlyn Singleton officiating with music by Dana Singleton. Interment 11 a.m. Saturday, Houston Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10 a.m. Saturday to go with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Charles (Chuck) Archer, Jeff Crawford, Matthew Wade, Brandon Archer, Dana Archer, Jack Archer. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations for funeral expenses.
