Obituary for Willda Rella Hobby
Willda R. Hobby-age 82 of Mascot passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at North Knoxville Medical Center. She was the oldest member and the pianist for Highland Springs Baptist Church and she loved to go to church and worship the Lord. Preceded in death by Husband, James B. Hobby; son, Mark Kevin Hobby.
Survivors: daughter, Lisa Allen and companion, Tony Prater of Corryton; son, Charles Hobby and wife, Clarissa of Maryville. Two grandchildren, Ashley Hobby and Melissa Allen. Four great-grandchildren, Averie, Annsley, Kimberly and Cody. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
The family will receive friends 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. Thursday, January 21 with the funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. Thursday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. James Lynch officiating with music by Harlan Lynch. Interment will follow at Luttrell Cemetery, Luttrell. Pallbearers: Tony Prater, James Lynch, Buddy Baker, Freddie Smith, Marty Lyons, Harlan Lynch. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
