Obituary for Carolyn Kay Nicley (Harrell)

Mrs. Carolyn Kay Harrell Nicley-age 62 of Washburn passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. She was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Johnny Nicley of 35 years; parents, George Everett and Mossie Virginia Baldwin Harrell; sisters, Mable Sue Harrell England, Jennie Faye Harrell Suffridge, Mary Diane Harrell Williams. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Robin Nicley, Washburn; B. J. and Sheena Nicley, Maynardville; Lynn Nicley, Halls and Timmy Suffridge, Halls; daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Roger Munsey, Washburn. Grandchildren: Jake and Sarah Munsey, Rebecca Munsey, Kearra and Ethan Nicley. Great-granddaughter, Brinnley Munsey. Brothers and sisters-in-law: Wayne and Nancy Harrell of Louisville, Kentucky, Junior and Bobbie Harrell, Randy and Sue Harrell of Washburn. Sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Davis and the late, Herbie Davis, Brenda and Marshall Nicley, Jill and Leroy Nicley of Washburn. Special friend, J. D. Capps. Several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff and nurses of Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. Funeral services 2 p.m. Sunday, Locust Grove Baptist Church, Rev. Matthew Leonard, Rev. Jerry Epperson, Rev. Jimmy Frye officiating with music by Jerry and Carolyn Epperson. The body will be at the church 11 a.m. Sunday. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery, Washburn. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at the funeral home for help with expenses. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
