Obituary for Sherry Kaye Norton (Dyer)

Sherry Kaye Dyer Norton-age 57 of Maynardville went to be with the Lord and reunited with her daughter 1:34 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2015 at her home. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, Luttrell. Retired employee of T.V.A. Preceded in death by husband, Bobby Norton; daughter, Kristen Nicole Norton; father, Kenneth Dyer. Survived by loving son, Arlin Logan Norton; mother, Ruby Dyer, both of Maynardville; sister and brother-in-law, Terry and Jerry Shumate, Knoxville; nieces, Katrina (Tommy) French of Luttrell; Natalie Shumate of Knoxville. Father and mother-in-law, Rev. Eugene and Leslie Roberts; sister-in-law: Linda (Walter) Bradshaw; nephew, Michael (Kim) Bradshaw; niece, Misty (Billy) Henderson, all of Maynardville; special aunt, Mae Emert, special cousin, Karen Campbell and a host of special cousins and friends. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015 with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Michael Kitts officiating with music by The McClure Family. Interment 11 a.m. Thursday, Haun Cemetery, Luttrell. Pallbearers: Jerry Shumate, Tim Summers, Derek Davis, Mike Collins, Tommy Campbell, Dylan DeVault. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
