Obituary for Dorothy Marie McGeorge (Ramsey)

Dorothy M. McGeorge-age 75 of Maynardville passed away 7 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015 at her home. She was preceded in death by husband, Brit McGeorge; granddaughter, Jessica Yadon; parents, Lester and Mamie Ramsey; brothers, Carrol Ramsey, Ernest Ramsey and James Ramsey. Survivors: daughter, JoAnn McGeorge Yadon and husband, James of Maynardville; sisters, Elsie Shipley, Etta Lambdin; brother, Robert Ramsey and wife, Martha, all of Knoxville. A host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Funeral services 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2015, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Carol Thacker officiating with music by Ted and Katie Seal. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
