Obituary for Edsel Ray Hensley

Edsel Ray Hensley-age 91 of Kingston passed away 4:28 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Methodist Medical Center. He was a member of Kingston United Methodist Church, Livingston Lodge #259 F. & A.M. since 1948, U.S. Army-Air Corp Veteran of World War II serving in Guam, Edsel was an electrical engineer and retired from K-25 Union Carbide with 28 years of service. He was the son of the late Albert and Nancy Hensley. Also preceded in death by son, Edsel Allen Hensley; wives, Emma Johnson Hensley and June Graves Hensley; brother, Walter Russell Hensley. Survivors: sons, Thomas Eugene Hensley and wife, Dora, Stephen Charles Hensley and wife, Jeanette, Phillip Clay Hensley, all of Kingston; daughter, Rebecca Hensley, Zephyrhills, Florida. Brother, William Eugene Hensley and wife, Evelyn, Buchanan, Virginia. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 at the Kingston United Methodist Church, 212 W. Church Street, Kingston, Tennessee. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the Kingston United Methodist Church with Rev. Sue Lynn Johnson officiating. Military honors and interment of cremains will be 1 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 2015, Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville, TN with Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard in charge.
