Mack Gene  Walker Sr.
Mack Gene Walker, Sr.-age 79 of Maynardville went home to be with the Lord Monday morning, November 30, 2015 at his home. Member of Carr’s Branch Baptist Church and was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Preceded in death by parents, Asa and Mamie (Sweet) Walker along with several brothers and sisters, two grandsons.

Survivors: wife of 55 years, June Rose Wilkerson Walker; daughters, Connie Daniels, Darlene Walker; sons, Mack, Jr., Neal and Kevin Walker; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Sam Sweet officiating with music by David Cole. Military graveside service and interment 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Monroe Cemetery, Maynardville conducted by the Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery by 10:50 a.m. Arrangements Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
