Obituary for Tilda Effler (Carr)

Mrs. Tilda Effler-age 91 of Maynardville passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Willow Ridge. She was a member of Texas Valley Baptist Church for many years and was the daughter of the late Richard and Lura Trentham Carr.

Survivors: husband, Fred Effler; daughters, Brenda Williams and husband, Randel; Rebecca Fields; Elizabeth Huschka and husband, Ricky; son, David Effler and wife, Karen. Nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2015 with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. Sunday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Michael Johnson officiating with music by New Friendship Singers. Interment 11 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2015, Texas Valley Church Cemetery, Knoxville. Pallbearers: Rodney Fields, Jason Fields, Matthew Parris, Quinton Williams, Brandon Williams, Zane Williams, Robert Effler, Rick Tibbs. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
