Mr. Lon Wolfenbarger- age 89 of Washburn went home to be with the Lord, 1:45 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2016 at the home of his daughter in Washburn. He was a member and deacon of Central View American Christian Church.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Fornia Mae Wolfenbarger; parents, John and Maudie Wolfenbarger; brother, Vaughn Wolfenbarger; sisters, Viola Capps and Retha Beeler.

Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Arlene and Robert Idol; grandchildren, Tonya Sabol and husband, Steve; John D. Idol; great-grandchildren, Cody Brown and wife, Alex; Shelby Tatum and husband, Bryon; step-grandchildren, Cameron and Carson Sabol; great-great-grandchild, Felix Brown.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2016 with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. Sunday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Jerry Epperson, Rev. Howard Beeler officiating with music by Jerry, Carolyn and Mark Epperson. Interment 10 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2016 at Liberty Hill Cemetery, Washburn. The family and friends will meet by 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers: John Idol, Cody Brown, Dale Capps, Jessie Coffman, Phil Beeler, Jackie Beeler, Larry Beeler; Honorary Pallbearers: John Beeler and Robert Nicely.
