Obituary for Helen Nicely Huskey

Mrs. Helen Nicely Huskey-age 82 of Washburn went home to be with the Lord, Thursday evening, September 15, 2016 at her home. She was a member of Mt. Eager Baptist Church. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister. She was an avid flower gardener and enjoyed working outside in her yard. Preceded in death by husband, Charles (Huck) Huskey; parents, Rev. Clyde and Kate (Thomas) Nicely.

Survivors: children, Chuck (Becky) Huskey; Pam (Steve) Acuff and Elaine (Joey) Clay; grandchildren, Chris Acuff, Lori Clay, Misty Seal, Kendall Acuff, Brandi Frye, Josh Clay, Lindsey Bailey, Holly Nicely and Tyler Clay. 13 great-grandchildren. Sisters: Fausteen Beeler of Luttrell; Dorothy Cloud of Indiana; Mable Muncey of Maynardville; brothers, Clyde Nicely, Jr. of Maynardville; Rev. Richard Nicley of Knoxville. Several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and interment 1 P.M. Saturday, September 17, 2016, Liberty Hill Cemetery, Washburn, Rev. Richard Nicley, Rev. Tyler Clay officiating with music by Linda Nicley and Rev. Tyler Clay. Pallbearers: Grandson. Family and friends may meet at the funeral home at 12 Noon Saturday to go in procession.
