Obituary for Richard "Dick" Chesney
Mr. Richard (Dick) Chesney-age 86 of Luttrell passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Fort Sander’s Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Chesnut Grove Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Horace and Bertha Chesney; brother, Frank Chesney; sister, Marylee Chesney; Gladis Framer, Kate Larmer.
Survivors: wife of 63 years, Josie Chesney; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Vivian Chesney; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Terry Hensley; grandchildren, Jason and Karen Hensley; Amy Sampson-Shular and husband, Robert; Jennifer and Tim Atkins; Jimmy and Cindy Chesney; Danny Chesney; several great-grandchildren. Brother, Bill Chesney; sister, Daisy Dyer, Betty Chesney.
Funeral services 2 P.M. Friday, October 21, 2016, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Bob Zavattieri, Rev. Keith Williams officiating with music by Chestnut Grove Singers and Jason Hensley. Interment will follow at the George A. Savage Family Cemetery, Luttrell. Pallbearers: Jason Hensley, Jimmy Chesney, Danny Chesney, Tim Atkins, Robert Shuler, Jeff Chesney. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Thursday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
