Obituary for Michael Ace "Mike" Sexton

Michael Ace (Mike) Sexton-age 64 of Washburn passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He loved John Deere tractors, farming and his grandchildren. He always told people he grew cows, chickens and grandbabies. Preceded in death by parents, Lee Roy and Kate Sexton; sisters, Patricia, Sandra and Lynda; father and mother-in-law, Arthur and Mary Terry.


Survivors: wife of 46 years, Debbie, son and best friend, Jason, both of Washburn; grandsons, John Neil of Knoxville; Cole of Maynardville. Special friends, Kellie (Tadpole) and her daughters, Kenlie and Adalynn. Sister, Wanda Keck; brother, Jimmy Sexton, both of Maynardville.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2016 with funeral service to follow at 8 p.m., Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Anthony Savage officiating with music by Linda Nicley. Interment 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2016, Hammock Cemetery, Washburn. Pallbearers: Kevin Merritt, Brad Whaley, Dewayne Williams, Lambert Atkins, Rusty Wolski, Stanley Terry. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m. to go in procession. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
