Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Johnny Buckner can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Johnny Christopher "Chris"  Buckner
Johnny Christopher “Chris” Buckner-age 53 of Union County passed away Monday afternoon, January 16, 2017 in Knoxville. He was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, J. D. and Jessie Buckner. Survivors: wife, Cindy Buckner; son, Christopher Lee Buckner; daughters, April Mae Buckner, Selisa Nikki McKinney; step-son, Michael Ray Thomas; 16 grandchildren; sisters, Vicky Graham, Karen Kitts and Becky Atkins. Several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-6 P.M. Thursday, January 26, 2016 at the funeral home. In lieu flowers, donations may be made for expenses at the funeral home. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
