William Paris "Bill"  West
William Paris (Bill) West-age 67 of Knoxville went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 11, 2017 at U. T. Medical Center. He was of the Baptist faith. Retired employee of Quality Machine and Welding Company with 30 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, Paris and Mary Lee West; brothers, Bobby and Marvin West; sister, Selma Wylie and husband, Robert.

Survivors: wife, Betty Jo West, Knoxville; daughters, Teresa Mabe and husband, Steve of Rutledge; Tammy Corum and husband, Tim of Blaine; Nicole Messer and husband, Aaron of Knoxville; Crystal West of Mississippi; son, Robby Dozier and wife, Alana of Knoxville. Grandchildren, Noah Messer, Malachi Messer, Ambra Turner, Trista Jo Armes, John Parrott, James Parrott, Tyler Corum, Trey Corum, Josie Mabe, Ashlea Thornburg, Alexis Dozier, Danielle Thornburg, Timmy Corum, Ashley Armstrong, Jamie McGhee, Matt McGhee and a host of great-grandchildren. Sisters, Judith Martin, Carolyn Gillette, Mary McCarty; brother, Gary West. Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2017 with funeral services to follow 8 p.m. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Joe Bailey, Rev. Lee Wayne Grubb officiating with music by Richard and Linda Nicley. Interment 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017, Rose Cemetery, Highway 25-E, Tazewell. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers: James Parrott, John Parrott, Tim Corum, Noah Messer, Malachi Messer, Tyler Corum. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
