Rose Eva (Cole) Browning, 82, Kokomo, passed away at 3:00 am on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at her home. She was born on September 9, 1934, in Sharps Chapel, TN, the daughter of Roy & Floy (Shoffner) Cole. On November 27, 1952, she married Troy C. Browning and he survives.
Rose retired from Delco Electronics after 30 years of service and was a member of UAW Local #292, along with Oakgrove Baptist Church in Sharps Chapel, TN. She was involved in the Busy Bee’s making quilts and crafts.

Rose is survived by her husband, Troy C. Browning, Kokomo; children, Rick (Bonnie) Browning, Russiaville, IN, Steve (Trisha) Browning, Sharps Chapel, TN, Teresa (Brian) Guy, West Middleton, IN, and Lisa (Carl) McClaine, Russiaville, along with 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one on the way in July; brothers, Bill (Jo Marie) Cole, Bob (Linda) Cole; sister, Anna Mae Sherritze; and sister-in-law, Georgia Cole.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Brenda Joyce Chittom, brother, Beecher Cole, and brother-in-law, George Sherritze.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-7 pm on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street, Russiaville. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.com
Tennessee services for Rose will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Maynardville, with Greg Sharp officiating. Burial will follow in Shoffner Cemetery in Sharps Chapel. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5-8 pm on Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville
