Obituary for Robert H. Black

Robert Hume Black, resident of Starr, South Carolina, passed away on February 25, 2017 of natural causes. Bob, as he was known by friends and family, was born on March 27, 1943 and was married to Linda Marie (Winzenried) Black on May 6, 1967 in Toledo, Ohio.

He is survived by sons, Dan (Sandy) Black and Randy (Kelly) Black, Granddaughter, Ashley Trahan, Grandsons, Jimmy Black and Owen Goble, and Great-granddaughter Aubree Hinkle. Survived by siblings: Betty Cornelius, Billy (Eve) Black, Kathy Black, Mikey Black, Florence Monroe, Patty Black, Jimmy (Joan) Proffitt, Jig (Johnny) Raley, Renee Proffitt, and Phyllis Proffitt.

Preceded in death by parents, Hume Black and Beulah Barnett, wife, Linda, and siblings, Bonnie (Wayne) Seymour, Kenny Black, Bob Cornelius, Peggy (Steve) Masingo and Rocky Weaver.

We will be receiving family and friends for a time of fellowship and memorial from 5pm-7pm Wednesday March 1, 2017 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
