David Lynn  Beets
David Lynn Beets-age 60 of Maynardville went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. David was a long time resident of Clinton where he owned Dave’s Volunteer Jewelers. He was very well known for his infectious smile and big personality. David was also well known for his music talent. David was much loved and will be missed by many.

Preceded in death by parents, Egbert and Burnis Butcher Beets. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Coppock Beets; daughters, Michele Beets Miller, Brandy Christie; sons, Ace John Carroll, Phillip Watson; special granddaughter, Taylor Johnston along with seven other grandchildren; sister, Debra Caldwell and husband, Jimmy.

The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2015 with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Chipper Warwick officiating with music by Tracey Flatford. Interment 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Hinds Creek Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: Randy Duncan, Cecil Narramore, Darrell Bible, Daniel Bible, Gary Wheeler, Bill Petty, Billy Bailey, Donnie Humphrey, Ace Carroll, David Mynatt. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 1 p.m. to go in the procession. In lieu of flowers, David requested donations be made in his name to the American Heart Association. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
