Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Pamela Sweet can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Pamela Kay Sweet (Hatmaker)

Pamela Kay Sweet-age 58 of Sharps Chapel went home to be with the Lord 11 P.M. Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Tennova Hospice. She was a member of Leatherwood Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by son, Jasper Sweet; parents, Richard and Delta (Johnson) Hatmaker; brother, Phil Hatmaker; sister, Hilda Sexton. Survivors: husband, Jerry Sweet; brother, Rev. Greg Sharp and wife, Vickie, all of Sharps Chapel. Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 12-3 P.M. Sunday, April 10, 2016 with funeral service to follow at 3 P.M. Sunday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Greg Sharp, Rev. Tim Sharp, Rev. Joe McCoy officiating with music by Leatherwood Singers. Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Pallbearers: Curtis Dyke, Jeff Sharp, Doug Osborne, Coy Bailey, Warren Dyke, Dave Tolliver; Honorary Pallbearers: Megan Edmondson, Emily Edmondson, Cole Nicley, Ozzy Nicley. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
